Course Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
Objective 1
1.1 establish design objectives based on needs.
1.2 formulate the design problem based on objectives and constraints.
1.3 generate ideas and alternative solutions systematically.
1.4 evaluate alternative solutions based on analysis to obtain the 'best' solution.
1.5 realize the selected solution in a working model or prototype.
Objective 2
2.1. perform their tasks effectively as members of teams.
2.2 present ideas in oral, written and graphical form.
2.3 respond on ethical dilemmas in design case-studies and projects.
2.4 use their time and resources in design projects effectively.
2.5 gather information or learn new material on their own.
Objective 3
3.1. use computer graphics tools to present their ideas.
3.2 use computer tools in the solution of design problems.
3.3 use computer tools to produce written reports and oral presentations.
