Research Interests

I am interested in various aspects of Theoretical Computer Science like combinatorial optimization, design and analysis of heuristics/probabilistic algorithms, and computer and network security (especially why the latter is so difficult to achieve in real life) with emphasis on authentication and privacy issues for various types of networks (adhoc, sensor nets, RFID, smart grid, etc.).
