HCC Computing Lab (Human-Centered Computing Lab)
The HCC Computing Lab (Human-Centered Computing Lab) at Kuwait University’s College of Engineering and Petroleum, under the Department of Computer Engineering, is designed to support a broad spectrum of usability studies and human-computer interaction (HCI) methodologies. This lab serves as a key resource for students in software engineering, HCI, and capstone projects, allowing them to conduct usability testing on prototypes or fully developed projects. Equipped for comprehensive usability studies, the lab offers students hands-on experience with user testing and HCI methodologies. Additionally, the lab houses a dedicated Eye-Tracking Lab, focused solely on research work for graduate students. This lab includes a desktop eye-tracking system that enables various methodologies, helping researchers explore eye-tracking data to answer significant research questions about user interactions with different user interfaces.
