Team Objectives

Measurement, performance, upgrading the level of plans, follow-up, measuring work, following up on their conformity with the plans of Kuwait University as a whole, and contributing to the unification of vision and efforts. The office also aims at the quality control process through the application of advanced methods of quality assurance, continuous improvement and development and achieving the highest levels in the college's systems.

Main Tasks

  • Study the obstacles and problems that affect the implementation of the programs of the strategic plan, the college plan and the transitional plan and propose appropriate solutions to overcome them.
  • Preparing the general framework of guidelines, indicators and models related to the preparation of strategic plans and transitional plans at Kuwait University.
  • Participate in the preparation of the strategic plan of Kuwait University, the college plan and the transitional plan, and follow up the implementation of its projects in coordination with the concerned authorities, and then prepare follow-up reports.
  • Develop standards and models to follow up the implementation of the programs of the college's development plans in general.
  • Study and develop performance appraisal systems for college employees and propose ways to develop their capabilities.
  • Studying, preparing and developing the organizational and administrative structures of the college in coordination and follow-up with the Development and Training Department.
  • Develop draft the general organizational structure of the college, its sub-organizational structures, and scientific centers.
  • Preparing forms and questionnaires and conducting the necessary interviews to carry out the required studies and measure performance.
  • Collecting data, statistics and information from various sources that serve the purposes of the unit or other units or departments of the college.
  • Preparing qualitative studies and reports on the college and its centers.
  • Summarize the results of studies using tables, figures, and graphs for easy use.
  • Studying the methods of work and procedures in the college in general and in the Office of the Vice Dean for Planning, Consulting and Training in all its units, and then submitting proposals and innovating advanced solutions to facilitate and simplify procedures to serve the interest of work.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest technological developments to develop self-capabilities.
  • Developing the database on the number of laboratories, classrooms, and their spaces to facilitate their use for scientific departments and all college employees.
