ISO 9001-2015 certification
The Acting Dean of the College of Engineering and Petroleum at Kuwait University, Prof. Dr. Ayed Atallah Salman, announced that the college had obtained the ISO 9001:2015 certificate for the quality management system, after it was able to successfully achieve all the required conditions and standards, and pass the audit and rigorous reviews process by Royal Cert International, thus being The college is one of the first colleges at Kuwait University to obtain this certificate
Prof. Salman said that obtaining the ISO certificate would enhance the integration between the various management systems, and expedite taking serious steps to automate and digitize the work of the College
In turn, the Vice Dean for Planning, Consultiation and Training, Dr. Osamah Ali Al-Omair, confirmed that the college’s obtaining this certificate is the culmination of the college’s efforts in documenting and developing its procedures with advanced technology. The certificate reflects the distinguished level offered by the college, and the continuous pursuit of continuous development to provide high quality services in an environment characterized by the highest levels of efficiency. For their part, the team responsible for implementing the ISO 9001:2015 quality system in the college, Eng. Ghazi Sari Al-Shamri, and Eng. Marwa Suleiman Al-Issa stated that the ISO system is a system that unifies the systems, processes and standards regulating work, as all necessary instructions and procedures have been documented in line with standard standards. related to improving the services provided
They explained that several meetings were held with the offices and departments concerned with the certificate, represented by the Dean's office, the offices of the assistant deans, the Engineering Training Office and Graduates, and the Administrative Director's office, as well as with representatives of the certificate-issuing company to ensure that it conforms to the established standards
